Most clients — around 9 in 10 — pick the Customer Generation build at £250. It's the one engineered to bring in enquiries: 5 pages, expanded gallery, Google reviews, WhatsApp chat, advanced local SEO and Google Business Profile setup. The Starter at £100 is right if you genuinely just need a single-page digital business card and aren't relying on the site to win jobs. The Signature at £500 is for established businesses who want the full works — up to 15 pages, guided copywriting, booking/quote system, blog, analytics reporting and priority support. If you're unsure, ask for a free mockup first and I'll recommend the tier that actually fits — no upsell pressure.
Yes. I design your homepage in full — real colours, real layout, real copy — before you pay a penny. If you don't like it, you walk away with no obligation. Please note the mockup and its design remain my intellectual property until the build fee is paid — it's not there to be taken to another developer to copy.
Yes, any time. If you start on the Starter and decide later you want the gallery, reviews section, extra pages or advanced SEO from the Customer Generation tier, you only pay the difference in build fee (£150) plus the updated monthly rate going forward. Same goes for jumping from Customer Generation to Signature. There's no penalty for starting small and growing into a bigger package as the business grows.
All three cover hosting, SSL, domain renewal, backups, email forwarding and unlimited content updates. The differences are the size of the site being maintained, the turnaround priority on your update requests, and the depth of support. Starter (£20/month) covers a single-page site with standard-queue updates. Customer Generation (£40/month) covers up to 5 pages with priority turnaround. Signature (£60/month) covers up to 15 pages with same-day priority, quarterly performance reviews and monthly analytics reports.
Hosting, SSL certificate, domain renewal, automatic backups, email forwarding, and unlimited content updates — new prices, new photos, new service lists, new text, usually turned around the same day on Customer Generation and Signature. What's not included is major structural rebuilds, brand-new pages from scratch outside your tier's page count, or full redesigns; those fall outside routine updates and will be quoted separately so you're never surprised by a bill.
No long-term contracts on any package. Whichever monthly tier you're on, it's rolling and you can cancel any time with 30 days written notice. I only ask for the notice period so I can properly wind down your hosting, transfer your domain and hand over files cleanly — nothing goes dark unexpectedly.
Once your build fee is paid in full — whichever package you chose — you own the design and the content of your site. Your domain is always registered in your name from day one, never mine. If you ever leave, I'll transfer the domain and hand over the source files within 14 days of your final payment clearing. No hostage situations, ever.
If a monthly payment fails, I'll contact you straight away and give you 14 days to resolve it. If it isn't sorted by then, hosting, SSL and email forwarding will be paused and your site will temporarily go offline until the account is brought up to date. You never lose your domain — it stays in your name throughout.
Usually within about 48 hours of approving the mockup, assuming you've supplied the content, photos and information I need to finish the build. Turnaround depends on how quickly you come back with feedback — if things are back-and-forth for weeks, the timeline extends accordingly.
You do. I'll design around whatever you send me — photos, logos, service descriptions, pricing — and I'm happy to recommend stock imagery or photographers if you need help. You're responsible for making sure any images, logos or copy you supply are legally yours to use. I can't take responsibility for third-party content provided by the client.
Because the free mockup lets you see the full design before you commit, build fees (£100, £250 or £500 depending on your package) are non-refundable once work begins on the live build. Monthly fees are non-refundable for the month already in progress, but you can cancel future months any time with your 30 days notice. If something goes badly wrong on my side, I will always do what's fair — I'd rather make things right than hide behind small print.
Absolutely. Most clients come to me with a tired WordPress or Wix site they're embarrassed to share, and I'll rebuild it from scratch at the standard build fee for whichever package you choose. If you're currently paying another provider, please cancel with them separately — I don't manage or close down existing accounts on your behalf, and I can't be responsible for overlapping monthly charges from a previous developer.
